i recently stayed at motel 6-hammond, in, chicago area for 2 nights with my family. the building seemed updated, and i really appreciated the helpful staff who switched us to a better room when the bathroom light didn’t work. the queen room was decent, and it’s in a nice area, close to everything we needed.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. Stains on the floor marked my socks, and signs of previous smoking lingered in the air. The bathroom needed a good scrubbing. I noticed cigarette burns in the tub and dirt in the corners. The lack of a microwave or fridge in the room made snacking impractical, especially after a long drive.
